Job Summary

Responsible for creating an atmosphere that welcomes guests to our mountain and for crafting an experience that makes them want to come back to ski and snowboard with us time and time again.

 

Qualifications & Experience

·        Possess intimate knowledge of all Youth and Adult Ski and Snowboard School programs, lessons, promotions, policies and procedures.

·         An interest and fascination with people and a desire to help them succeed in whatever way they chose to define as success.

·        A love for skiing, riding and the mountains and a desire to share that with others

·        A willingness and aptitude to learn

·        Competent riding and/or skiing ability and possession of the appropriate equipment and clothing

 

Responsibilities

General:

·       Coach and instruct individuals and groups as assigned

·       Present a positive, respectful, and attractive image to our guest, each other, and other mountain employees

·       Interact with customers in a professional manner

·       Meet the required minimum scheduling commitment.

·       Arrive on scheduled days and be prepared to teach at assigned program starts

·       Attend mandatory meetings and trainings.

·       Pursue improvement in teaching abilities and skills contributing toward continual improvement of the ski and snowboard school.

·       Complete the necessary paperwork and other requirements of employment in a timely and accurate manner.

Other:

·       Perform additional tasks as requested by the Adult and Youth Program Managers, the Administrative Manager, and supervisory staff.

·       Perform additional tasks as requested by the General Manager and other Director Team members.
